Ann and J.P. McGinnis have
owned and operated the McGinnis Ski School for 10 years.
They both have extensive water ski knowledge and have
been in and around the water ski industry all their lives. Ann
was born and raised in London, England, and came to the
United States 20 years ago. She skied for the
British team for many years, competing in British,
European, Masters and World tournaments. She won
numerous gold, silver and bronze medals and Overall
titles. Her competition days came to an end during
a Masters tournament in England when she badly damaged
her knee in a jumping accident.
J.P. was born and raised in
Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His family have been
involved in water skiing for over 35 years. His
mother and father taught him to ski when he was 4 years
old. He is a great instructor, and will motivate
you to ski your best. He loves to ski and you will
see him tearing up the slalom course during his free
time. He is also a pilot and is Airline Transport
rated. He has his helicopter, float plane and
flight instructor licenses. JP and Ann have three
children, Kelly 13, and twins Sammy and Sarah 11 years
old.
